Plot

The book is about this boy, called Dominic Cantori. He is an orphan and he does not want anyone to know it. He has always lived with different families and he has never known his real parents. One day on a class trip, they go to Ellis Island. They went to a museum and got a tour through the museum. When they are going to the wall of immigrants, Dominic hides in a closet. Then he is taken back in time and meets three boys. When they have to go to America because they found a family for them, one boy dies. Dominic discovers that one of the boys is his grand grandfather and that he is actually taken back in time.
