Title

The book is called The Orphan of Ellis Island because there is this boy, Dominic, the main character who has never known his parents. He has got one very big secret. He is an orphan but he does not want anyone to know this. One day, he goes on a class trip to Ellis Island and there happens something very strange. The adventure begins.

When Elvira was not busy with writing, she liked travelling to research her stories and working in her garden. By 1999, she had written twenty books.
